Roll Call: August 24 - 30, 2026
THIRD AMONG HEROES: CURVECAP, THE STEADY TIDE
From third place rises CurveCap, strong and true,
Whose measured miles like ocean currents drew!
One hundred thirty thousand steps he trod,
A hundred twenty-four kilometers—by god!
His heart at fifty beats, a drum so low,
His fitness age, a mere thirty-five—not slow!
Six score and ten thousand steps he pressed,
Each dawn he woke and put his mettle to the test.
He kayaked three-point-three-seven kilometers through the tide,
While indoor storms of cycling swelled inside—
Five hundred thirty-eight calories burned in flame,
Upon that bike he carved a warrior's name.
His bench, his curls, his pull-ups in the gym,
He built his frame on discipline and vim,
And rowing strokes—eight hundred seventy strong—
He pulled against the current all day long.
His sauna seven days, a forge of heat,
Where sweat and will in sacred union meet,
And cross-country he jogged seven-point-seven-two kilometers in mist,
A long hard route he never could resist.
O CurveCap, third but never third in heart,
Your steady siege has earned a hero's part,
For while the bold may flash and quickly fade,
Your tidal march makes every fortress swayed.
SECOND AMONG HEROES: BATTMAN, THE CAVE-FORGED KNIGHT
Now second comes—Battman, from the shadows deep,
Whose iron will from nightly vigils leap!
His air-bike battles, fifteen minutes each,
Burned calories that poets cannot teach.
One hundred eighty-one, one ninety-four,
Then one-seventy, one-six-six more,
On four days, fifty squats—a ritual rite,
Before he faced the heavy weights of night.
His deadlifts—one-twenty-five—he raised with grace,
While a ninety-second hang in time and space
Suspended him like bats upon the stone,
His grip of one-o-three in sinew grown.
Weighted dips at fifty-five, he pressed them high,
Eight reps, then nine and nine—he would not yield or sigh,
And rings with twenty pounds, his feet aloft,
He pulled inverted rows till sinews soft.
His cable crunches, two hundred pounds of steel,
Nine reps, twelve reps—his core began to feel
The burn of landmine twists and hammer curls,
He forged his abs like armor for the world.
One hundred pounds for laying curls—he bent,
With triceps pushdowns, every ounce was spent,
And pike push-ups, seven reps in threefold sets,
Battman, the cave-forged knight, no foe forgets.
O second-born of glory, hear me sing,
Your weekly forge has made your legend ring,
For though one stands above, you hold the line,
A Dark Knight's vigil, steadfast and divine.
FIRST AMONG HEROES: REKTDIOMEDES, THE STORM OF WAR
But now the first—RektDiomedes, hear!
Whose name alone strikes terror far and near,
Like Diomedes of the Trojan plain,
Who wounded gods and made Ares complain!
Fourteen thousand steps each day he strode,
While martial arts in triple waves he showed—
Two MMA, three BJJ, one Muay Thai,
He trained to break the world or die or try!
One hour of open sparring, sweat and blood,
He stood like Hector in the rising flood,
And thirty sets of lifting, heavy steel,
His muscles screamed but never learned to kneel.
Three days he ran through twenty to thirty minutes' fire,
A burning pace that climbed and climbed still higher,
Then came the full Achilles—mark it well—
Two miles of hell where lesser warriors fell!
Seventy pounds upon his back he bore,
Two dumbbells more—a hundred forty more—
Ninety farmers carries, one by one,
He walked the earth like Atlas 'neath the sun.
Then seventy weighted pull-ups, seventy times,
Each rep a thunderclap in epic rhymes,
With seventy pounds attached, he rose and fell,
A demigod who conquered heaven and hell.
O RektDiomedes, first among the three,
No mortal chain can bind what you have set free,
You carry worlds and lift them to the sky,
While lesser heroes watch and wonder why.
Your name shall echo through the halls of fame,
RektDiomedes—the storm, the fire, the flame,
And when the great battle calls us to the field,
You are the spear that never learns to yield!
CLOSING CHORUS
So hail the three! CurveCap, the steady tide,
Battman, the knight with shadows at his side,
And RektDiomedes, first in war's embrace—
Three warriors who have earned their rightful place!
No ten, no hundred—only three stand tall,
The chosen few who answered glory's call,
So raise your voices, let the mountains hear:
These three are ready—the battle's end is near!
The Rankings
1. RektDiomedes
2. Battman
3. CurveCap
