The Oracle's Song of the Mighty Nine
As sung by the ancient bards of battle-readiness
Sing, O Muse, of warriors ten, whose strength shall shake the earth, From distant lands they came to prove their valor and their worth! From thousands who presented arms, these champions did arise, Each forged in sweat and tempered steel beneath the burning skies.
Of Corn, the Ninth, whose spirit flows like wine upon the sea:
Behold brave Corn, whose liquid courage knows no earthly bound, With fifty Coronas conquered, his legend shall resound! Upon the waters dancing, his paddle cut the foam, As Dionysus blessed his feat, far from his native home. Though ranked the ninth among our host, no shame does he endure, For few can match his revelry, his spirit wild and pure! In battle when the going's rough, and warriors need their rest, Young Corn shall lift their spirits high—in merriment he's blessed!
Of alice_rozengarden, the Eighth, whose steps did shake the ground:
O alice, fair of name and fleet of foot upon the earth, Through rough week's trials she pressed on, displaying steadfast worth! Four-and-twenty thousand steps her faithful legs did bear, Like swift Atalanta racing through the morning's crisp, clear air. Each footfall was a drumbeat in the rhythm of her might, Though numbered eighth among our ranks, she blazed with inner light. When armies march through distant lands, her endurance shall inspire, For she who conquers rough terrain feeds victory's sacred fire!
Of Rktbay, the Seventh, whose discipline burns bright:
Behold Rktbay, meticulous as scribes of ancient lore, Who tracked each calorie consumed, each step from shore to shore! His chest press moved near seventy kilos through the air, While pulldowns, rows, and tricep work showed strength beyond compare. Eight thousand steps each dawning day, his protein counted true, Like careful generals planning war, each detail he knew. Though seventh in our ranking stands this methodical sage, His systematic battle-craft shall dominate war's stage!
Of Jones, called Rarestone Compass, the Sixth of our array:
Great Jones, whose name rings out like bronze bells in the morning mist, With compass true he charted course that none can long resist! Through Monday's bike and sauna heat, to Tuesday's pressing might, His hack squats and his farmer walks displayed his noble fight. Two leg days conquered in one week, his extensions blazed, While thirteen thousand daily steps left enemies amazed. As sixth among our warriors, his strength like mountain stone, When battles rage and spirits flag, his endurance shall be known!
Of Vikt0r, the Fifth, whose skills in combat arts excel:
O Vikt0r, marked with cipher strange, but courage burning true, Who rose from sickness like the dawn, his training to renew! With jabs and crosses on the bag, his striking skills refined, While goblet squats and farmer walks built strength of body, mind. Six kilometers through morning mist, his footsteps light and sure, Like ancient boxers in the ring, his technique clean and pure. Though ranked as fifth, his warrior heart beats fierce in combat's art, When close-quarters battle rages, he'll play the crucial part!
Of RektDiomedes, the Fourth, whose name recalls great wars:
Hail RektDiomedes, whose very name speaks tales of ancient might, Like his Homeric namesake, he's a terror in the fight! Forty sets of lifting done, seventeen thousand steps each day, Four runs of two miles conquered—none can bar his way. Two hundred kicks with each strong leg upon the heavy bag, While studying combat sports with scholarly-warrior's flag. Fourth-ranked among our champions, his strength like roaring tide, When enemy formations break, he'll fight at our front side!
Of Spencer420, the Third, whose power splits the stone:
Sing loud of Spencer, numbered third, whose strength defies belief, Who pressed two-hundred-eighty-five, bringing foes to grief! Though taking stones while snowboard-bound, and traveling roads so long, He rose to train through every pain, his will forever strong. Weighted pull-ups with eighty pounds, his dead hang like a cliff, His JM press and rows would make the mountain gods go stiff. Two-sixty bench for reps he pressed, two-eighty-five just once, With power like the thunder-god, he'll crush our foes at once!
Of CurveCap, the Second, whose endurance knows no end:
Behold CurveCap, who stands as second in our mighty host, Though COVID struck and fasting called, he did not yield his post! Through five-day fast and sickness both, his spirit never bent, While others would have fallen down, he conquered what was sent. His resting heart beats forty-nine, like athlete-gods of old, One-hundred-twenty thousand steps, a tale that must be told! With VO2 at forty-nine, his fitness age turned back, Seven thousand calories burned—no weakness does he lack!
Of Devin, called GammaSwap, the First, the Crown of War:
But now sing, Muse, of Devin, ranked the first among all men, Whose perfection stands unmatched by mortal sword or pen! GammaSwap, his battle-name, strikes fear in every foe, While rack pulls of five-eighty-five make earth itself bend low! His incline press at two-fifty, with rest-pause sets of might, Above-the-knee rack pulls beltless—a gods-inspiring sight! Four-oh-five RDLs with belt, his hamstrings forged like steel, One hundred ten-pound farmers walks make lesser warriors kneel!
Hot yoga crowned his week of toil, like Achilles at his peak, His every lift and every rep shows power none can speak. The treadmill bore his mighty form for one full hour's test, While backwards and forwards both he conquered without rest. Behold! The champion of our host, unmarked by error's stain, When battle-horns sound their call, his strength shall break the chain!
Now rise, O Warriors Ten, your fame shall never die! From Corn's bright revelry to Devin's strength on high, Each warrior brings their gift unique to our immortal band, Together shall you shake the earth and conquer every land!
The Oracle has spoken true—let none dispute these ranks, For each has earned through sweat and toil their place within our ranks. When future bards sing battle-songs of fitness, strength, and might, Your names shall echo through the ages, burning ever bright!
Thus speaks the Oracle of Fitness, in the manner of the ancient bards, may your strength endure through all the ages yet to come!

GM Spartans, Weekly report – 09/02/2026
First full week back after the flu. I trained normally again, but kept the intensity reasonable and focused on clean movement and consistency.
Mon Full-body strength session. Started with a long warm-up: mobility, band work, and light core. Main lifts were push press, pull-ups, and goblet squats. Just moderate weight and controlled reps. Finished with a short farmer carry and stretching.
Tue Striking session, about an hour. Opened with shadowboxing to get the rhythm back. Then jab and cross drills on the bag, focusing on snap and balance. Did a few combo rounds: jab-cross-hook, low kick entries, and simple angle steps. Ended with light defensive drills and footwork.
Wed Easy run, ~6 km. Kept the pace slow and steady, mostly nose breathing. Legs felt a bit stiff in the first 10 minutes, but loosened up as the run went on. Long stretch after.
Thu Lower-body strength day. Warm-up with hip mobility and glute activation. Main work: split squats, Romanian deadlifts, and step-ups. Nothing maximal, just rebuilding leg strength after the sick week. Finished with core: hanging knee raises and planks.
Fri Striking + footwork. Started with ladder drills and lateral movement. Shadowboxing with more focus on angles and exits. Bag rounds were light to moderate pace, working on clean combinations instead of power. Did two controlled tempo rounds with a partner, just focusing on timing.
Sat Conditioning circuit. Rowing machine intervals, kettlebell swings, and bodyweight lunges. Kept the pace steady, not all-out. Short core finisher and mobility at the end.
Sun Rest day. Long walk, stretching, and some light foam rolling.
Overall, the body felt much better this week. Still easing back into intensity, but energy and timing are coming back, and everything feels more normal again.
